A
concept which started in Houston, Texas. Jefferson first started
his journey from Hwy 6 north @ I-10 (AKA The Katy FWY) Jefferson's
first planned destination took him to Disneyland in Florida hitch hiking.
And the journey continued, he left there mostly traveling the highway on
a quest to Earnest Hemingway's home in Key West, Steven King's home
in Bangor, Maine, then on to Graceland in Memphis. And of course
all the people and place's in between.
Jefferson's drawing is mostly based on his continuing journey to find a place where he belongs ... All of his original art work is dedicated to his son, Bruce Ray Waller of Houston, Texas. Each year he starts and finishes a new drawing / book of continuous art. At the beginning of each year his art starts where the previous one left off. |
